EmpowerHer is WAG's flagship project on sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR) and gender-based violence (GBV). Funded by Kynnys ry through Disability Partnership Finland, it works directly with women and girls with disabilities in three communities in Lilongwe.

Pamodzi Kuthetsa Nkhanza means "Together to End Abuse." This large-scale project tackles the root causes of intimate partner violence (IPV) and gender-based violence (GBV) in Lilongwe and Balaka. WAG is implementing it as part of a three-organisation consortium, funded by the UK government.

UNITE-4-ADP is a three-year EU-funded project working to make that protocol a practical reality — by building awareness, strengthening advocacy, and pushing for ratification and domestic implementation in Malawi, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

Mama Cash is an international feminist fund based in the Netherlands. From 2016 to 2025, their multi-year grant gave WAG the foundation to grow — funding advocacy, community outreach, and the social and economic empowerment of women and girls with disabilities across Lilongwe.

The African Women Development Fund is a pan-African grant-maker that supports women's rights organisations across the continent. From 2021 to 2023, AWDF funded WAG to strengthen the capacity of women and girls with disabilities to advocate for their rights and build economic independence.
